The plot was interesting though the relation between Adam and Juliette was way too predictable. It too lovey-dovey and it felt very fake because they haven't seen each other for two or three years and then they suddenly start making out. It's such a fairy tale. The other thing I didn't like about this book was probably the fact that Juliette is the most pathetic protagonist (notice that the cover depicts an eye crying). She's scared of everything and is so insecure. And I won't even start with all the friggin' coincidences in this book, but I'll give you a taste of it with a slight exaggeration:
O.M.G My touch can destroy the world!!! It can break anything including concrete walls (but I happens to not be able to break my way out of prison) and it can kill anyone (except for my boyfriend and my worst enemy), of course.
Seriously. What?
Please, Tahereh Mafi, shatter yourself and this book.
P.S. Crossing out text in a book is a very bad idea. It's annoying as hell.
Honestly, this book doesn't even deserve a star.
