Unpopular opinion time!!!
When her father lost his fortune in some risky investments, Feyre finds herself feeding her family because she's the only one that knows how to hunt. One day, when she kills a Fae and by doing so, breaking the law, another Fae gives her the choice to give up on her life or leave the human world to join the Fae world. Feyre choose to join the Fae world in the house of one of the High Lords and lives there very comfortably. But when darker forces are threatening to destroy the Fae world, will Feyre find a way to save those that nearly enslaved her or will she let them rot to seek revenge?
Seriously, if you ever decide to get this book, then read the first 10%, skip the whole useless filled-with-fluff middle part and jump straight to 68% where the action reallybegins.
To be honest, I only gave the three stars for Lucien and Rhysand. I'm kind of upset to say this but I couldn't care less about Tamlin. He didn't have a deep personality and was just so detached from everything. Most of the time, I just felt like he didn't give two shits about Feyre. I mean, does he really love her? If it weren't for the "curse", he would probably just let her be free and go back to her family, right?
Anyways, reading this book was fine, but I wouldn't go as far as buying it nor would I read it a second time for fun. I feel like most people just give it 5 stars because it's written by Sarah J. Maas. Meh:/
It's a 3 Stars for me
