Seraphina lives in a world where dragons and humans cohabit. The humans think that the dragons are scary and dangerous while the dragons think that humans are too emotional, but what happens when you happen to be half-human and half-dragon like our protagonist Seraphina? With the help of prince Kiggs, Seraphina must attempt to hide her deadly secret while looking into the murder of prince Rufus and unravelling a secret plot made to disrupt the peace between humans and dragons.
Honestly, I didn't like the book that much. There was just to many descriptions about philosophy and music that it felt very info-dumpy. The book only got interesting in the last quarter of the story where there was a lot of action and interesting conversations going on but the rest is just endless talking and information set for the making of a series. Also, I didn't really connect with Seraphina or any other character in the story so it ended up not being as interesting as it should've been but maybe that's just me.
