Inigo is a master swordsman who seeks revenge on the Count Rugen who killed his father a decade ago.
Fezzik is a kind and strong giant that just wants to belong somewhere.
Vizzini is a very good manipulator.
Together, they are hired to kill Buttercup, the most beautiful girl in the world but...
Westley will go any length to save his beloved Buttercup from harm.
What a book! I really liked the concept that Goldman used when he made people think that S. Morgenstern was the original author of the book when he himself was just there to tell us the "good parts" of the original version. It gave the impression that the tale was written hundreds of years ago but when you think about it, Goldman is still alive. I felt like I was reading some modern version of Romeo and Juliet except that The Princess Bride was funnier, more action-packed and somewhat more realistic. It kept me on the edge of my seat from the beginning to the end. Although I have to admit the intro was a little long and sometimes, Goldman's comments were very random but do not fret it remains a very good book!
